SWITCH command [MS-DOS, NEC PC98]
To configure the Memory Switches in MS-DOS, use SWITCH command. The DIP Switch 2-5 must be on if you don't want to initialize it every boot. (PC-9801DA and later models have the System Setup Menu instead of real switches.)

What's the Numeric Data Processor
Historically, floating point arithmetic operations were provided by an optional math coprocessor (NEC called it Numeric Data Processor). Some 9801 machines have 80x86 and V30 (8086 compatible) processors to support old softwares using V30's unique instructions. Each processors must be used with corresponding coprocessors. Also, you may have to configure the jumper switch on the CPU board. It's depending on models.
